In the PDM, we have folders that have a product number. These folders have an identity card with properties related to the characteristics of the product.
Is it possible to duplicate these files by giving them a new number?

Hello
I don't want to copy files but folders.
Hello
Do you have a lot of files to copy?
if you don't have a lot of them, you can create a folder tree template in the EPDM administration and link it to a template data card to fill in the values by hand when creating. It won't be a copy, but a new folder to which you give the same properties as the ones you wanted to duplicate
If you really have a lot of folders to copy and you use the MyPDMTools tools, you can use the DataRecovery tool which will allow you to create the folders via an Excel table.
In fact, an average user would have to be able to copy an existing folder while keeping the same properties and values. Only the name of the folder will change.
Hello
Normally a simple copy and paste is enough,
I guess it resets you everything if you do it like that?
If yes, in the PDM administration the variables of the Folder data card must be unchecked: "Replaces the default"
It should work:)
