Edrawing 2017 free for 15 days then

Hello

I have been using Edrawing publisher free for several years to share with my clients. With the installation of creo4, I had to install the latest version of Edrawing. The proposed version is professional for 15 years then I thought I would go back to non-pro mode (so less functions). But surprise, I have a pop up that tells me expired version please buy it... I don't want to buy it or have all the functions. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and especially solved the pb?

Hello

Have you tried to uninstall the pro version and install the free version???

Hello ac cobra 427

In fact, it is possible to install Edrawing free to view but in my case I was using a "lite" publisher version in Pro/Engineer to create *.ePrt or *.eAsm files. And now it seems that the pro version, once the time limit has passed, becomes unusable :-(

Hello

Look there; There you will find a download link:

Thank you ac cobra 427 .

It's precisely the software that I loaded to overcome the "problem" of the version that has become paid ;-) but RapideFire Lite is also with a 15d trial period :-(

I was anxiously waiting for the end of the delay to see if the Lite version would also be definitively deactivated in, now, in 12 days

Hello

I simply think that E-drawings has changed its commercial policy. So the gateway became paid for permanent use and they certainly removed the lite version.

Now to be seen, but with 3D interconnet integrated into SW since the 2017 version, it is possible to directly open native files from other software without going through exports (E-drawings, Step and other formats)

Hello Cyril.f

I know I'm going to look like an alien but I'm working on Creo ;-) so not sure if Interconnect is integrated into Pro/E. I'll still watch.

Hello

Why don't you use Creo View Express?

It's free for your customers and you can export to the format with Creo.

And if you have Creo 4.0, you get access to augmented reality through Thinkworx View.

@l.sabourin : oops, read a bit diagonally sorry. So apart from changing viewers as recommended by s.b, I don't see any other solution.

Hello s.b

This is what I do to compensate for this strategic change of Edrawing. However, the .ed or .ol model is much heavier and especially my customers love the perspective function which unfortunately does not exist in creoview express :-(

As for the fact of switching to Creo4, this version has been downgraded to realistic rendering, so I stay in Creo3 for some customers... so no reality increased for them. But I will still study this point more closely.

Hi all

no one has been able to confirm to me that Edrawing puplisher no longer exists for free and the palliative with RapideFire, or Créoview does not meet all the requirements of my customers, so no solution to date. However, I will close this post and let you know if the situation changes.

Thank you
