Grayed out items above the recovery bar on solidworks 2018

Hello

I am sharing my problem with you in the hope of finding help. Indeed, as you can see attached, the majority of the functions I used are grayed out, so I lost almost all my elements... Can you help me?

Thank you.

Have you tried to undo the deletion?

Good evening dylan

I've never had that kind of thing. It must be a very simple thing.

It gives me the impression as if you have an open sketch (in the process of editing).

If your problem is not solved yet, can you post your file

(File ==> Pack and go ==> zip file.)

I have the 2019 version, so I could read your file.

Kind regards

Good evening

Are there any configurations in your room? Don't these functions depend on idle configurations?

Functions in deletion state, right click then undo deletion not working?

Hello

Thank you for your answers.

I think the best thing is for me to send the file directly to you.

I think that Stefbeno 's answer is the one I was looking for, by canceling the deletion I recovered all the functions (if I understood the problem correctly).

See screenshot attached

I confirm, it was just a matter of selecting the greyed out items and choosing "undo deletion"

Thank you so much!

Hello Dylan

What's curious about your case is that there was a lot of functions in a state of removal.

Maybe it was intentional but the question can also be how you did to put all these many lines in a state of deletion in one or more  times.

See you soon ;-)

@Dylan (I don't know if you'll read the message but here's an explanation of the phenomenon)

Explanation of a feature that turned into a bug.

  1.  The phenomenon is happening well, as I indicated from a sketch. In your case, sketch 113.
  2. If you delete it intentionally or accidentally, all objects that depend on it automatically go into a delete state.
  3. The problem is that when you delete the "delete state" from Sketch 113, all the functions that originally depended on it remain in the deleted state.

Explanation of the BUG  feature :-)

It is very likely that this is where it is held.

See the link given by @Aurel07 in another post     https://www.visiativ-industry.fr/etats-affichage-solidworks-les-bonnes-pratiques/

There may be a way to avoid this, but I didn't pursue the investigations any further.

Kind regards
