Gear that changes its name in assembly

When I create a gear from my solidworks toolbox and save it under a specific name "Gear10teethModule3.SLDPRT" after applying shoulders to it.
When I place this modified gear with its specific name " Gear10TeethModule3.SLDPRT " in an assembly.
And that I record this assembly.
The next time I open this assembly, Solidworks systematically changes the name of this gear to "spur gear_am" and replaces it with the raw file of the creation without the modifications made in the file saved by the specific name " Engrenage10dentsModule3.SLDPRT "
How can we avoid this???

Thank you in advance for your help

Hello Pierre.dieudonne54,
Check if the modified part is not open on your pc, it can come from this.
If this is the case, close everything, and open by checking the references of this assembly, and also look at the paths, if it points to the right place.
All this you can check before you do ok to open.
Keep us informed (SW version for example).

Hello;

You need to " break " the link of your new part and your toolbox:

Kind regards.

Otherwise you create an assembly with the mecha retakes on your toolbox part.
Bore, keying, shoulder...
This allows the coin to be kept as it is.
