Removal or extrusion with projected curves

Bjr, I'm looking to remove or add material around a truncated conical bowl, to do this I projected a spline on the conical surface and then I don't know how to explot this/these projections.
Anyone have a solution?
Thank you

Hello
What do you mean by " removing or adding material..."  ? Extrusion, revolution, smoothing, there are multiple ways to manipulate material in SolidWorks.

If it is a question of generating handles on the outside of the bowl, an extrusion function may be suitable.
Two methods:

  • Create a 3D sketch from the curves projected on the truncated conical wall (Curve1) and then extrude in a direction that can also be defined by a segment of the 3D sketch.
  • make an extrusion directly from the initial plane sketch (Sketch8), setting the outer surface of the bowl as an end condition. By doing so, the projected curves are useless.
By default, the extrusion direction is normal to the sketch plane, but there is nothing to prevent you from using another direction, defined by a sketch segment, an edge, etc.

Kind regards.
