Wood companies using SolidWorks software

Hello

I am working on a business creation project. My first customers would be companies specializing in wood (fittings, furniture, carpentry, etc.) and using the SolidWorks software. I am doing a market study and therefore want to get closer to these companies in order to check their interest or not for what I can bring them. This will allow me to test the relevance and viability of my project.

How you can help me: I am looking for a list of companies specializing in wood (fittings, furniture, carpentry, ...) and using the SolidWorks software.

Any information on the subject?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello

basically you are looking for a list of customers to offer them improvements on their products and to sound out if you could create a service company...

There are already specific logs for kitchen layout

that kitchen designers already use for sales, the visual is important

see on our friend google (software-layout-kitchen-3-D)

SolidWorks is a Meca log with Drive Works in addition

you have the possibility to manage the size of your furniture with the same base  via X config

There are also

http://www.cadware-education.fr/education/produits-education/swood

Now it's up to you to know what you can bring if necessary in + to be able to offer your services

and justify the sale of these

Thank you manu67 and gt22 but I should have been a little more precise.

Without going into too much detail :

I am looking for companies of various sizes, specialized in the wood sector and using SolidWorks in order to check if my project holds up.

Companies of various sizes to better target and adapt my offer.

Companies specialising in the wood sector because I am going to do a training course in cabinetmaking. However, all sectors could be interested in my offer, but you have to start somewhere. If I can bring a critical eye, then that's a plus.

Companies using SolidWorks because there is VBA programming behind it with the API. I am a VBA study and development specialist on Office Pack applications and I will follow a complete training on the SolidWorks software.

I don't want to reprogram or improve software that already exists. There are other companies that do this very well!

My goal: the "tailor-made" automation of processes using SolidWorks and/or Office pack applications (Excel more particularly but not only). The possibilities are really numerous, but little known to companies.

Can you help me find companies that meet these criteria? Feel free to send me a private message if necessary.

Thank you ;-)

In Lyon, the company COFIM is an industrial carpentry company that uses SolidWorks.

If I understood correctly, the automation you are looking to achieve is a kind of DRIVEWORKS just with Excel: interesting....

Hello

There are a large number of companies using SolidWorks in the field of wood, wholesale, Mobalpa, Gauthier, ... or local fitters....

What type of business are you looking for, craftsmen, VSEs, SMEs?

Did you know that a software specialized in the field of wood is sold with SolidWokrs if needed, Swood from the French company Eficad?

@flegendre: Thank you

@Coyote: I'm interested in all sizes of companies. For the moment, I am in a phase of market inspection. I want to be able to meet the needs of different companies with an offer adapted to the profile. And yes, I know Swood because I've already been in contact with them.

Thank you again for your help.

Hello

By searching for "SolidWorks carpentry|wood" on job boards you can find companies that are currently looking for draughtsmen:)

Hello, it's a good project what you have here. To be able to obtain a whole list of companies of any size that work in the world of woodwork that uses the software, you need to get in touch with the authorized resellers of the software. Otherwise, you can find on the internet some leads to get this list. As far as I know, the software is only made for companies or individuals who work in the field of piping, sheet metal, manufacturing, electrical cables and not woodwork.  I think you need other software to carry out this project. You can always try with Excel. With this software you can gather all the information about these companies. You can still master the software by taking an online Excel training .
