Sending by email

What is the best format to send SW plans by email?

Hello

It depends, do you want to transfer from solidworks to solidworks? Or is it to open your file with another software? If so, which one?

Otherwise, if your file is not too large, you can compress it in .zip or put it on a download platform!

The link below is a download platform, very easy to use, it is the best solution (to my taste) for the transfer of large files!

Hello

It all depends on the target audience. What software does the receiver have. Then you have to determine what you want to give them access to. Because I imagine that you have information that must remain confidential.

Kind regards.

Edrawing is very good at showing the customer a solution without them having the parts. He sees everything, can turn the whole thing, cut it, but without being able to recover anything else.

Hello

in the "Composition to go" menu there is a checkbox: "zip and send by email"!! That's not bad!

or in step/iges if you don't unfold it by yourself and if your interlocutor doesn't have SW.

You can send STEp for laser and bending, in general the bending boxes have the software that goes with the bending machine to automatically calculate the bend losses or they will calculate their K  factor themselves!!!

To send to the customer, the best way is to send it to the pdf or jpeg.

This allows him to annotate the plans received to send them back to you in case of modification or for validation.

The weight/quality ratio is correct.

If it's for laser subcontracting or other. sent in .dxf

And if it's for an archi, you can even attach a pdf3D
