Hello
I would like to know if there is / or is possible to have a function for the thickness of paint on profiles.
We work with powder-coated aluminium profiles and parts.
The plans are planned for the manufacture of the parts but with the addition of paint this creates discrepancies on the assemblies.
So I would like to know if we can easily integrate an extra thickness of paint.
Thank you in advance.

I don't think it 's possible but if you know the thickness of the paint why not modify the sides of the parts according to this thickness?

Hi, in this case I am using a ''painted part'' configuration associated with a ''shift face'' function that can be removed in the default config.

Hello
You can create an additional function, a face offset by selecting the painted faces, it will make sure of a surface envelope around your part.

I can't make any changes to the dimensions of the parts because it is a problem for manufacturing.
For the surface shift, this is what I currently use in volume without merging the bodies, I get my part and a surface around it corresponding to the painting.
It's a time-consuming job and I thought there could be a function.
Thank you for your help.
