Hello
In solidworks I simply try to create a cube (by sketches) and to annotate next to it its volume (annotation or table)
All this automatically, the value of the annotation must vary according to the dimensions of the cube...
Anyone have an idea?
I tried to add a table, I manage to get the values of the odds with:
"H@Esquisse1"
in equation, but not to multiply them...
Thank you and have a good day

Hello
The volume is a default property in SolidWorks.
In the 3D properties you go to the drop-down lists and you have it, then this property is recoverable in the drawing (cartridge, note, table, .....)

Hello Coyote,
I don't have 3D, it's a sketch-only construction (just a MEP without 3D).
The goal is to be able to do small quick edits on 2D

Hello
To make equations in a drawing, we have to go through the insertion of a general table.
The cells in the table can be filled with an equation by selecting the "sum" symbol.
The equation cannot use dimensions on the drawing directly, but only cells in the table. A cell can be linked to the value of a dimension by double-clicking on the cell and selecting the desired dimension.

All right
Call Number --> Cell
Cell -> Calculation
@Coyote:
You have to select (single click) a cell and click on the E of equation (formatting bar)

It also works with the = sign at the beginning of the cell :-)
