Hello I have a room with 3 configs A, B and C, with specific properties for each config that drive a sketch. When I pass config A to B: error-free reconstruction A to C: error-free reconstruction B to C > reconstruction error about 7 times out of 10 I admit that sketching is not simple. It's hard to see where the problem comes from when everything is red or yellow. It even happens that the removal of a constraint makes the sketch turn red... Have you ever had this kind of problem?
If there are rays and tangencies in your sketch in your sketch, the problem may come from there because sometimes depending on the sequence of modifications the tangencies go backwards.
The best would be to post the piece or at least some images.
The sketch contains some tangents indeed. no improvement by removing them.
The sketch is quite complex, there are a lot of constraints, and many equations. I had preferred constraints to equations when possible, but it may be a bad idea. You talk about sequence order, and I think that the cis are processed in the order of creation, while the equations can be processed in an optimized order by checking the "automatic solve order" box at the bottom of the equation manager window.
There is improvement. No more error messages. on the other hand, some driving dimensions not managed by equation change when going from one configuration to another (always B to C)
[edit]: problem solved by removing still more geometric constraints (equals of lengths) and replacing them with dimensions using an equation.
