Edit: duplicate removal.

It is possible to attempt a repair of the SolidWorks installation, but you are not sure of the result!

Wouldn't it be by chance a supplement that would have difficulty getting started?

Sometimes we install add-ons, such as "export to collada" for example.

Disabling them at startup can solve the problem.

Thank you my friends for your interactions! that's very nice of you...
After a search in different forums I didn't find a useful solution to solve the scrips error ... and by hasar I do the parameter restoration (default) like the attached image, and I normally solved the problem quite simply...
I hope someone of you tries it and thank you

Kind regards

Hello.

I was also getting a script error when launching SolidWorks 2014 educ (see screenshot in attachment). Restoring all general system options or starting software repair did not bring any improvements.

I ended up looking at which add-ins were checked to load at startup. Unchecking "SolidWorks Forum 2014" caused the script error not to reappear.

Thank you for this question and for the previous answers that put me on the right track.
