SOLIDWORKS Installation Error (Cause [11])

Hi all

I can't install SolidWorks. Every time I run the installation it shows me the following message:

" Unable to create HTML file (C:\Users\Oussama\AppData\Roaming\SOLIDWORKS\Installation Manager Data\2015\lang\english\HTML\content.html)

Cause: [11]

Contact your local technical support."

If you can help me or advise me something, it would be very appreciable!

PS: I reset the computer to the factory state to go back from W10 to W8

Have you watched the videos I posted to you on the first communication thread?

Yes, I watched the video. Except that me, now  that I have W8 again, as soon as the installation starts it shows me the error message. and the installation does not complete.

What do you have as a PC motherboard graphics card?

ACER; W8;

Processor: Intel Core i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz

RAM: 6.00 GB (5.82 GB usable)

Operating system 64b

(I don't have administrator rights on the hard drive, I think

I did Command Prompt: net user administrator /active: yes

I got the answer: system error 5 has occurred; access denied)

Look at this link it concerns Windaube error 5

Hello, is this a Windows administrator session? Which version is it? Before 2015 it's not compatible with Windows 8 I think.

IF.... SI.............@ PL via this page

http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html

 SW Educ 2015 is compatible with W 8 and 8.1 and W 7 in 64 bit

It's from the 2016 version where it goes to W 8.1 or stay in W 7 64 bit

Thank you for your advice.
I managed to fix the problem by switching to administrator mode (after several attempts..) I was able to install it correctly.

You should have validated PL... Because he asked you if you were an administrator...

You are talking about a good answer that solved the problem

If another member has the same problem, the question is solved but the answer is null and void

especially since the solution has been given to you x times either in writing or in the links posts

I'm going to be polite.

First of all, I posted this question because I was looking for a solution, I'm not looking to provide an answer..!! (I would be very badly placed to do it given my skills in the field..)

Second, another person who read the message:

( Unable to create HTML file (C:\Users\Oussama\AppData\Roaming\SOLIDWORKS\Installation Manager Data\2015\lang\english\HTML\content.html)

Cause: [11]

Contact your local technical support.")

that SolidWorks displayed to me every time I tried to install it, immediately suggested to me as a solution: " Make sure you have administrator rights on your hard drive". Which I did immediately afterwards. And the problem has been solved. She didn't make me go through "a thousand" videos and links for nothing in the end!! (She established an immediate diagnosis. I know we're not all equal)

So, gt22, calm down a bit. Aggressiveness for nothing.

Thank you and sorry for those who have the same problem and find these dialogues unhelpful.
