Hi all
Following the arrival of two new positions, I undertook the installation of SW, EPDM, MYCAD, MYPDM...
All went well on the first computer, but on the second one, an error message appears just before the end of the SolidWorks installation (see PJ): "Unable to execute the post-installation script (code = -1)". SolidWorks still installs, but I see bugs and slowdowns that are probably related to this error. After restarting the installation 4 times, the message always comes back, if anyone has already encountered this problem I'm all ears.
Thank you.

Hello
I remember the problem with the SW2015 installation.
Here is what I did at the time.
There is a conflict between the Windows patch "KB3072630" and Solidworks 2015. This patch was released on July 14 and since then you may encounter a multitude of problems (freezes, slowness, SDWORKS module not loading, etc.).
Dassault Systèmes to report information.
In order to solve the problem, we had to perform these actions in this order:
- Uninstall SDWORKS2015
- Uninstall KB3072630
- Reinstall SDWKS2015
may the force be with you.

Thanks to you OBI WAN, but the problem didn't come from there:
I actually use a utility to install Solidworks, which also installs other software such as EPDM. So it seems that the Solidworks installation completes successfully, and then the utility fails to install EPDM because the installation file has been moved. It is therefore an internal error.
On the other hand, I notice that on my new windows 10 workstations , Solidworks is very slow and crashes more than usual, to see over time...
