When I launch Solidworkks Composer (2016), I get a system error on "composer.exe" that tells me "Unable to execute the code, because mfc110u.dll is not found... "
I'm on Windows 10 Pro. Maybe a problem on the Visual C++ side.
What to do? Thank you.

Hello, try to reinstall this visual c++ redistributable (version appropriate to your Windows), via the official Microsoft website, (it may be damaged or removed by an anti virus),
(no experience with it, that's what I found on the net).
I repaired...
No better.
Composer 2016 and windaube 10
are compatible ?????????
The last 2 answers seem irrelevant to me...
Indeed, the logs are not compatible with the fact that Windows no longer guarantees the normal functioning of composing, in other words, even by repairing this "visual" or even reinstalling the Windows it might not work, (nothing is certain),
Exmp
This library may indeed be present, but since windows and composer are no longer on the same wavelength, composer can't point to this library (because windows changes the name for example),
Thanks @ Lynk
for this correction ;-)
and yes on papers it should
but it doesn't do it in practice
maybe not completely off-topic ;-)

Hello
A silly remark (it doesn't commit to anything)
The question would also be whether this problem exists with the 2019 versions and beyond of Composer.
It's a safe bet that if it's just a DLL thing, the programmers at SW and Dassault have to solve it finger in the noze. Otherwise, the Composer product used by very large companies for their documentation would be obsolete, that's not possible.
Kind regards
Unless @cmilloux can't get the up to date version
The problem is solved.
The dll file for C:\Windows\System32 was missing. I copied / pasted the one from another post and it works.
However, Composer is in 64-bit version and the Visual c++ components (2010, 2013, ...) 32 and 64 bits had all been repaired/reinstalled...
