Railing staircase

Hello.
We set up factories. This genus:

there are railings, stairs, ladders with crinolines...
concrete and metal stairs...

There can be between 10 and 50 of these elements per project.
We don't need to go into detail that would make it possible to make them fab plans.

We have seen that there is software that can be integrated into the solidworks environment to facilitate and automate this kind of modeling. Metalcad solidplant.
Do any of you use that kind of assistance?

If not, what do you think? How do you proceed with these elements?

thank you in advance

Hello
this type of equipment is often made with TEKLA, undoubtedly the leader in this market. Everything is ultra-standardized, all the elements have to undergo different simulations/calculations depending on the environments and sites.
I used Metalcad but I don't think it's suitable for industrial sites, it doesn't do the calculations either (unless I'm mistaken)
As for Solidplant, I don't know

After if it's just for a visual, SW knows how to do it. You make a customizable library with the different elements.

Thank you for your answers. Yes, it's visual.
Yes, I had created some customizable templates. With an explanatory note in PDF:

Because when I make a model that can be configured in January, it's not sure when July I know where to find the dimensions to modify, it takes time to reappropriate the operating principle.
and in the meantime we realize that we should have and could have done otherwise.
and you have to explain to colleagues, who might not have done it like that...

On our side, we have also developed, if necessary, certain elements such as stairs with integrated railings, varying only the angle and height, for example, or railings that follow a trajectory to represent the periphery of a floor.

When you are ISO9001 or other, you have to make sure that in case of absence or " disappearance " there is continuity in knowledge. The best thing about this kind of improvement project is to do things as a group. The more we are, the less stupid we are
