Is the master link

Is the master/slave link applicable to excel or word files that you want to value, if so how is it done?? For an excel file for example??

Thank you

Hello, yes to my knowledge EPDM can handle any type of file (including Autocad). To be configured in the PDM data map. See the completed challenge on Lynkoa for ready-made data maps: http://www.lynkoa.com/node/114583/projects

Some interesting links:

- Fill in an Excel file:

- Link to Microsoft Office files:

- Or for the properties of an Excel file:

And the 1st prize of the Lynkoa challenge on data cards manages the information thanks to one or more Excel files:

Hello

What do you call a master-slave bond? A concrete example?

With all files, regardless of their extension, in EPDM you can attach them to a WorkFlow.

You can also copy and paste files as references: copy an Excel file and paste it as a reference to a SW file for example. This way, you see in the contents of your SW file (via EPDM explorer) the Excel file in question. It can be used to attach documentation to a commercial document for example. It can be useful the other way around, for example on a launch note, you can glue all the plans related to this note as a reference. As a result, in the content of the Excel file you will see all the plans.
