Is it possible to fill in a 3D sketch?

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question because I was wondering if it was possible to fill a 3D sketch?
If so, how?
I'm on SW2020.

Thanks in advance

Hello KhAmCoM,
In my opinion no, but maybe by using surface it is simpler and faster if not in volume also with functions also for the surface.
But what does it mean to "fill in a 3D sketch"?

ok I'll look into it
in fact I was wondering if it was possible to draw a whole part in 3D and for it to be solid and not wired

Hi KhAmCoM,
Here is your 3D in 2022SP4 version.
Make good use of it.

I'm under 2020... Too bad.
The sketch was an example, I know how to model it with the smoothed base technique but it was a question I asked myself about the 3D sketch

No better and simpler...

The initial question was about a 3D sketch...
" Filling " the 3D sketch of your example in volume or surface is possible with a scan, using the SolidWorks " Selection manager ".
But it is unlikely that the principle will be easily applied to a more complex sketch.

yes thank you  that's what I was telling myself, it's not possible as it is.
that is to say that there is no specific function for filling, for example.
Thank you in any case
