Hello
A 3rd question related to the Lib Feat Part because I'm right in the middle of it.
I think the answer will be no, but you never know...
Is it possible to find out in which rooms a "Lib Feat Part" profile is used? SLDLFP?
As can be done for the use of a part in assemblies via EPDM.
Thank you
Antho

All profiles made with the welded construction module use library profiles.

Yes, but my question is: Is there a way to find out in which rooms the profile is used (used in bookcase profile with welded construction module)?

hello Antho, apart from creating a property in the 3D where this information would be filled, there is no direct recognition for that to my knowledge.

For me the only way is to create in excel a search
So transfer of all the nomenclatures in Excel
@+
If the LFP is set with "Link to Function..." " this creates an "External Reference"
So we would have to create a macro that would analyze the files:
"If external ref. / and If path=...\Features Palettes\... / Adding file to result list"
For example, to list the files...

My question was about an integrated LFP in welded construction where the "Link" option is not available. Obviously, there is no simple and basic solution, but I suspected it anyway.
in this case, it is possible to search by the "List of welded parts"
if the MEP contains a list (but it must also be possible through the PRTs),
just do a bulk search by looking for the "Description" values or a part.
If the LFP files were correctly populated from the beginning, they have a "Description" value
(in a list of welded parts, this is one of the basic principles/philosophy of this module ...)
Example of research:
"UPN profile... "
"Extruded Profile N°xxx... "
EDIT: EPDM must be able to do this, because it can read the "Welded Parts Lists"

I don't see how I could look for that through the EPDM.
If the "Global Search - Content (text)" function was not buggy, maybe it could do it.
Otherwise, you would have to go through a Visiativ consultant, I don't remember but someone had done a global search in a chest with keywords, and sent me a list...
I don't remember what tools he used to do this...
Maybe a myPDMtools tool allows you to do something, I don't know them.
