Performance Evaluation - Network References

Hello
While doing a performance evaluation on an assembly, I have an alert such as on the attached image (network references) and I can't find so far any explanations to solve this problem, thank you in advance

I have the same problem. Have you found a solution?

Hello;

This type of alert simply indicates that some files are on a server, which takes longer to open than a file on a local disk...

To put it simply, the "path" that files must follow to open from a local hard drive is as follows:

− Southbridge → Hard Drive (Motherboard) – > CPU – Northbridge > (Motherboard) – > Ram – and OPEN!

If you then compare this with the file path when opening a file from the network:

− Ethernet Card – > Router\switch\hub → Server → Southbridge server hard drive →→ server CPU server → Northbridge server → server RAM → Router\switch\hub → Southbridge → Ethernet card → Northbridge CP→U → → RAM and finally OPEN! (I'm exhausted just reading the path...)

Solidworks therefore wastes a lot of time on requests when opening these files.
