Lynkoa Community hello,
In the EPDM explorer I have a double-click problem that only works 1 time out of 5 (and even then) to open any file, extracted or not.
Obligation to right-click -> open with ...
I'm on EPDM 2013 SP05.
Is this a problem with the 2013 version?
Is there any adjustment to be made to avoid the problem
Thank you in advance

Hello
Is it only on read-only files?
See this link. . http://blog.inflow-tech.com/inflow/2012/04/double-clicking-on-a-solidworks-file-doesnt-do-anything.html

The problem is for ALL files, whether they are Office, SolidWorks or other files.
Thank you for your beginning of the solution, I'm going to see all this right now
The solution seems to work after several times opened extracted and archived files. That's a good thing.
But what about all files that aren't SW files?

Wouldn't there be a similar option in EPDM?

Are the other files read-only?
Have you checked the box again?
If there is a similar option in EPDM, I unfortunately don't know about it.
No, I didn't check the box again. The problem is recurrent even in people where SW is not installed.

Does it happen in the entire PDM or only from the "Used in" tabs?
Throughout the EPDM, it doesn't matter which tab.
See attachment:
Imagine I want to open the 02-CC-02 BUILDER 3.0 file. Impossible by double clicking. I have to right-click -> open with ... (when I say obliged, it's up to the goodwill of my machine)

The same problem occurs on colleagues' machines or only on this workstation?
