I would like to know if any users have the solution to my problem:
We sometimes make sheaths in galvanized sheet metal, which generates a large quantity of parts to be cut by laser. We do the cutting under subcontracting. We therefore provide a dxf file, and a nomenclature, indicating the type of sheet, the thickness, length, width and quantity. Is it possible to export from the asm the dimensions of the capable rectangle of each part constituting the asm, as well as the quantities, in an excell file ideally? This would save us a lot of time.
Today, I know how to massively export dxf thanks to My Cad Tool, but not generate the bill of materials. It must therefore be done by hand.
By making a plan, you insert your assembly into it.
You make a nomenclature.
In this nomenclature you can put the personal properties of the different components (I also think the properties from the sheet metal work as well as the quantity!
The problem is as follows: the values to be retrieved are "width / length of sheet metal side". These properties are present in the sheet metal body properties listings, but custom properties don't evaluate them !! So they don't fit into the untabulated nomenclature...
