Export file following Excel list

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to export a list of files following an Excel file.

Thank you in advance,

Hello and Happy New Year,

it's a bit vague as a question "I would like to know if it is possible to export a list of files following an Excel file".
Exhibiting in PDF in STEP???

Exactly, not very clear, you want to export a list of files in a predefined excel file?
With the myCadtools utility? (see title)
In this case smartbom will do the trick:

If it is exported in pdf step following a list of files obtained from an excel file see Integration or batchconverter:

Without the utilities it's another subject (macro or other)

Thank you for your feedback.
Sorry for my vague question.
I rephrase:
I have a folder with all my SW files in . PRT and I would like to export some of my files following an Excel list as a .step file.
(I have myCADtools and SW2017)

Or right-click on the tabs, Custom..., then right-click on the tab and delete or hide but if empty you might as well delete it.

Hello @julien.perrussel

First of all, I am very happy to welcome you on the forum.

I hope that we can help you solve some problems, but also that we can benefit from your knowledge and experience.

You must have appreciated the response time between the time you posted and the time you got a response :grinning:

Kind regards

Thank you for your feedback but I didn't understand your message.

I think he got the wrong subject

I also believe

To export in batch, look at batchconverter, which does the job very well.
At worst, Integration can also do this (see link above)
To retrieve your file list in batchconverter you export the path of the files (from your excel in a csv file (utf-8 format)
Then right click in zone 1 and add a csv file containing a list of files
You check the export format in 2 (step 214)
In 3 you create the rule for the name of your export here filename + name of the configuration (possible with revision...)
Then you apply in 4 and each file path of your csv file will be processed 1 by 1.

For integration if necessary, same principle for the csv, then it is the rules that must be modified.

Thank you for your answer,
I need a little clarification. In my CSV file, do I need the exact path or is the name enough? Because currently, when I apply manipulation,
I get this:

Thank you in advance

The complete path. (Otherwise it is impossible for him to know where the file is stored)
Attached is a zipped csv example, made for Visiativ for an old bug.
BOM - Découpe.zip (344 bytes)
And for the csv format in Excel (very important otherwise it doesn't work):

Hello;
I have a small off-topic question about the screenshot of @sbadenis
The " renaming " rule indicated on your " Batch Converter ":
image
Is it the default rule that is activated each time the utility is launched?
… I'm asking this question because I spent a few hours with the Visiativ hotLine asking them to " undo " this rule to replace it with my personal renaming rules...
in vain. It comes back randomly on all the positions of our company...

And at home?

Kind regards

This renaming rule is indeed enabled by default on my workstation (last rule of my creation saved by default), but not on other workstations.
On the other hand, we use more macros for dxf and step exports so it's difficult to answer you (another need for customization)

Thank you @sbadenis

It was for information only...
I admit that I also feel "obliged" to create my own macros to compensate for the more and more numerous shortcomings or errors of Visiativ's paid tools... (they are expensive anyway...)
However, I have to thank them for encouraging me to get my hands dirty with VBA programming, I'm really starting to like it.
… I still have big apprehensions (or even fears) when they will release the new version of Smartproperties. :scream:

Kind regards.
