Part extraction

Hello

If a part is extracted on one station and then this station is switched off, can we " undo the extraction " on another station?

Thank you

Hello Calimero154,
A little more precision would have been welcome, by version; screenshots, ... Ect.

Hello
When a part is extracted on another workstation with PDM, it is therefore on the C disk of this workstation so it is not possible to archive it from another workstation.

Hello;

If you are talking about 3DExperience Online, the part must be accessible on your " Cloud ", and whether you can re-manipulate it will depend more on user restrictions.
If it is an Offline version is well the answer is " no ", the data is on the hard drive of the switched off set.

That said, what do you mean by " Extraction "?
If it is the recovery (save-under) of a part from an assembly, you can always start from the original assembly to find your component.

Kind regards.

Hello

If we are talking about Solidworks PDM, it is possible to cancel the extraction carried out on a user workstation from another workstation. On the other hand, the work will be lost.

If you want to keep the work, you have to connect to the workstation where the file is extracted and then archive it.

All these actions can only be done with an administrator profile.

Thank you, I'll do the test...
You have to be a PDM administrator I guess?

Yes, you must have an administrator account (or the corresponding rights on the profile)
