Extract all volumes from all my PRTs Family tables included

Hello

I would like to do a relatively simple operation in the idea, but that I have trouble implementing: Recover the volume of all my PRTs.

2 steps in my logic:

1 - Create a custom VOLUME property calculated from the SW-Volume@SolidWorks calculated field. I can do that with batch properties (even if I ask to extract, assign the property, then archive, and my files are not archived after the operation).

2 - Retrieving this property using data recovery and template file.

My pb is that I take the data out of the file but that the volume column remains unfilled. but by opening the PRT I have the property and a value.

Ideally, I have a lot of parts family files and I would like the volume for each config.

If an expert can help me...

In fact I may be doing it wrong, what I want is to recover on excel all the volumes of all my parts with all the configs.

With the integration of mycadtools you can decline the different configurations, retrieve a property (volume and then export to a file the values obtained.

It remains to be seen how to create your rule.

Thank you for this first approach but...

I can assign the property by integration or batchproperties,

I can extract a file with the VOLUME column but this column remains empty while when I open the PRT I have a value.

On the other hand, with DATARECOVERY I understood that the software only extracts the values that are on the card and this variable is not on my cards at the moment.

This may explain this, but I didn't see how with integration how to export values.

I didn't specify but we are on SW17 + EPDM17.
