Extrude to multiple directions

Hello

I have to remove material from a projected curve but I can only choose a guideline  when I would like the cutting to be perpendicular to the circle everywhere...... How to do it?

I don't understand your question well?

In other words, he wants his extrusion to be permendicular with all the facs.

Hello

It is necessary to use functions derived from the surface such as smoothing, or sweeping or boundary.

Is this what you want?

see attached file SW 2012

Re

Simpler it is necessary to create a surface of the sketch3d then a thickening and then subtraction.

Edit: sorry Obiwan that's the answer you already gave

Otherwise, by adding a sketch to close the desired shape, you can make a volume thanks to the "surface" function and subtract the volume of your body.

Hello again, Here is by surface

Hello again, here is your part with subtraction by area.

hello,@rvillar

Can you put explanations because people who don't have the same version as you can  't see anything, so it's impossible to understand your resonance.

may the force be with you.

you make your sketch in the center

Creates a plane that is offset out of the room

Convert your sketch to the sketch of the declare plane

Your sketch lines must be on the piece

Surface/Face/Plane Material Elevation Function

you click on your outside and you validate

see attached files SW 2012

Hello

@gt22 I think he wants the corners to be 90° as well, the red corners need to be cut. That's why I think the thickened surface and then subtraction solution is the simplest ?

yes quite possible @ Obiwan

waiting for the poster's return

finally walkthroughs are there for those who want to hear and look

without wanting to be a bad omen

I have the impression that your removal of material is not at a constant radius see the top view :-(

not to hit my head ;-)

yes @GT22

The poster  would have to give his opinion on the different solutions proposed. For my piece indeed there is something at the top in the corners but I didn't get tired I just reused the face of the part from the subtraction, maybe he wants it that way .otherwise the principle is there.

May the force be with you.
