Make some crop outlines disappear in drawing views

Clear crop outlines from some drawing views.

To my knowledge, this is not yet possible on SolidWorks.

I'm going to do a few tests.

See the other answers.

Weird, on solidworks 2014 when I do a cropping I have no outline line just a line that "closes the parts" (screen attached).

And if not, it may be possible to change the color of the outline of your stroke, for example put the same color as the background and then we don't see it anymore.

Hello

When I'm on the view I create my sketch of what I want to crop and I click on the function and don't have an outline... Which side of Solidworks are you under???

Hello

It seems to me that this is not possible, but you can convert the view to a sketch and delete them afterwards.

The outline appears only on the ends of the cropped part, try to make one without protruding from the part and you will have an outline on all four sides.

Hello

Have you tried to hide the bodies and/or parts that are located at the level of the features you want to make disappear?

Oh yes it can be a solution Frédéric , hide the room in the background if the delimitation of the cropping is on it, to try.

Same as vspemens.

In 2016, the lines appear only to delimit the cut of a piece

But no, it doesn't work, too bad. But at the same time it seems logical to me to have delimited ends for a cropped view, removing them can harm the understanding of the sight. If you really want to remove them, I think there's only by converting the view to a sketch, but I don't think there's going back after that.

In fact, I specify, I only have the problem when the trimming is inside a part for example a top view of a small machine on a very large civil engineering. To have a correct aesthetic, it is nicer that the contour of the trimming does not soothe. But indeed I don't think it's possible on SW.

It's not blocking but it's always disappointing not to be able to present the documents in the way you want.

In any case, thank you for your answers and have a good holiday season.

I don't have SW on hand to try (holidays oblige), but I know that you can hide the edges in a view (http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/Hiding_and_Showing_Edges.htm), on a misunderstanding, it can work.

You can indeed hide some stops but not the cropping outline lines.

Hello

In fact, it comes when you crop a section view???

If you copy and paste the view to crop; You can work around the problem of sketching a rectangle or other shape on the view you wanted to copy and you select the sketch and use the detail view function there you won't have the outline...
