When a new part family is created, the wizard inserts what it considers to be changing (dimensions or property).
Be careful, because it even has the piloted odds (it's better to remove them from the table !!)
To add a call number that is not listed, here is one of the possible methods:
exit the excel, go to the creation tree, right-click on the Annotation folder,
check "Show function dimensions", display the model in total wireframe (allows you to see all the dimensions),
Return to the Excel (the cursor must be located on the first line and to the right of the filled box).
At this point if you click (or double click, it depends on the Excel editing mode) on a dimension, or function in the tree, it adds it to the Excel.
After filling in all the lines of the excel, then exit, and put the display back in shaded, hide the dimensions by the "Annotations" folder.
To display all the ratings, this implies some setting/use of the display filters, and options.
Tip: for ASM and PRT (not for MEP!), I prefer to hide the "thread circle" that crosses the 3D, and keep only the thread texture (requires a good use of filters, and settings of the "Annotations" folder) and I also disable solder (for Soldered PRTs) in the "Annotations" folder.
On the other hand, the setting of the displays with "useful use" of the filters in the 3D, is a bit peculiar to manage, if you do dimensioning in the 3d that you import into the MEP.
For the dimensions, it's not a problem, but for the "surface finishes" or "geo tolerances" it's a story, in order to keep the use of the filters, and display of the threads in the 3D.
