Hello confined people,
I have a problem with a part (from a step from Creo) that is in surface and that I can't close to have a volume.
It's SW2017.
If a charitable soul can take a look at it.

Hello @ stefbeno
I took a look at your piece and the step
it's really not very beautiful
if a dead body is enough for you
here is your part under SW 2017
@+
Magnificent.
A big thank you
And by the way, I see that there is no function in your tree, how did you do it?
Converted to Volume
since a Max of surface error
I tried to repair a few surfaces
via repair and discontinuity
but nothing worked or very little
The same applies to recognition of office
the straightening is completely rotten and not harmonious
Personally I would redo the room (if it was for me)

A trick to try save the volume in parasolid
and convert to SW
To retry a function recognition
No time or need to redo the room.
When you say "converted to volume", where is it found?
My client sent me all the possible exports, the parasolid was the worst: all the surfaces of the "groove" were missing.
Hi @ Stefbéno
Via the part import options
out of curiosity what this said piece is for?
I think that the shaping of the protuberance
was made on the fly, there are breaks at each change of course
@+ ;-)
It is a cutting drum for a continuous product, which will be separated a little further in the machine.
You can make me a screenshot of your import step settings.
Honestly no I don't know anymore sorry
Tests via volume import
with discontinuity options at the Max
I did several tests myself
to be able to do something stable
@+
OK
For the moment, I don't have any others...
