File not found when opening step

Hello

I did a solidwork training last June and since when I open steps, I find myself with parts that cannot be found in the sub-assemblies and I don't know how to delete this.
I can share a screenshot if needed.
Thank you in advance for your help comu.

Hello

Hello
For my part I sometimes have problems when importing STEP, if I open the STEP directly, I get an empty model... Problem that I solve by opening the STEP via SolidWorks (File>Open). If it helps

Hello @h.yilmaz

Happy to welcome you to the forum.

Hope we can help you solve a few problems!

Kind regards

Good evening, ac_cobra_427, I don't have a window "3" that opens. after selecting Step, the assembly opens directly.

In fact, when you select STEP in operation n°2, you have to look for a STEP and then cut it without opening it

and there there will be an option box that you will have to open and see the options I put previously

I ticked like you and ... Similar...

Oh yes, and it opens it up for me in assembly.asmdot
image

and when I open a new part I have an imported part each time:

and it's been doing it to me since the same time. I had to change a setting, but I don't know which one...

Stupid question, have you tried to right-click and cancel the deletion (on the deleted parts) It seems to me that once I had this kind of problem and that it had worked

It seems to me that you have saved your document templates with imported parts and bodies,
Try to start with the default templates, there are plain descriptions in google and youtube

I will try! Thank you

I right-click on the part in my assembly? I'll try it as well. Thank you

Yes, that's it

I reset the default settings and I still have the body imported...

I don't see where is " undo deletion "...

Hello @h.yilmaz

Post your ASM with the function (Pack an go) - File ==> Pack an go ==> save to the ZIP file.

There must be a simple explanation to give you when reading your files and only the ASM will be able to see it

Kind regards
