Hello
I look for the function to wrap a sketch around a surface (in this case a cylinder) and then remove material. I've already used the function in the past on SolidWorks but I can't find it on catia... despite a lot of research.
Thank you in advance
Have a nice day

Hello, you need to use the Developed command
You need to have either Generative Shape Optimizer or Developed Shapes.
Hello Franck,
Thank you very much for your help. Indeed, this function allows me to roll up my sketch but I don't see afterwards how to remove the material using this rolled sketch.
The answer that could solve my problem would be: is there a function that allows you to remove a volume created in generative shape from a volume created in part design.
For example, if I want to make a square block that fits into a room, I make the "raw" block. Then, I recover the surfaces of the part that I "join" to make a "volume" (which is not a volume but a surface assembly). Is there a way to remove this volume from my raw block?
Thank you in advance for your answers:)
Have a nice day

Hello: under Part Design the command cuts.
