Hello world,
I created a smart function that allows me to make a coupling, but it only works in one direction.
For example, I can use the function on a cylinder only in one direction.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @ rducrue
can you make a screenshot to better understand we don't all have the same version of SW
Have you seen this tutorial

As for the positioning of the smart function, you just have to cut the right side
@+ ;-)
Hello
I just tried and when I insert the part into a cylinder SLDW offers me to reverse or not the cocentricity constraint before validating it .... Is it possible that it is due to your female part?
Thank you for your answers however I think I put badly expressed.
In the design library, you have "smart functions" that allow you to repeat functions that are always the same.
Files of type sldlfp

It's up to you to do your extrusion in common sense via the origins and your resumption of intelligent functions will be done via this origin which is totally logical, there must be a logic for the good functionality of the log @+ :-)
So following your answer I will never be able to use 2 times a symmetrically opposite intelligent function
If by making a symmetry of this function via a plane of symmetry
@+:-)
