Hello
No site to offer, I had gone through the Greta site of my department when I was unemployed which includes SolidWorks + Catia + Autocad. for 2 months of face-to-face training. (but that was 18 years ago
Otherwise, Visiativ offers SolidWorks training.
On the other hand, if you are looking for "free", good luck outside of the youtubuesque tutorials.
Hello
2 months for the three software seems very short, I'm going to find out but I'm looking for distance learning, I'm not looking for free but at a reasonable cost anyway.
Thank you for your info
short yes and no because Catia and Sw are on the same operating basis. And when you have a background in technical design, it's just a formality.
You have to understand that in any case you won't be able to use 100% of a software because there are so many functions.
You are mainly taught how to manipulate a software, the bass of the drawing you must already have it to design a part. (ideally, I don't know your journey)
After 2 weeks of training I was already modeling a model of a barge during off-peak hours following my plan from when I was a kid, you just have to set yourself goals to train.
Namely that in this training we also had hours of mechanics, resistance of materials, use of bass from the office pack, CV and everything^^ knowing that the group was made up of young people from 16 to 58 years old.
But I'm sure that it can be found, especially since the lockdown, distance learning.
And don't hesitate to leave us some good plan in the post, I'm sure it would interest people.
The key is above all to know what foundation or technical experience you have in terms of calculation, drawing...
The software itself is not a huge obstacle if you have a good technical base.
For my part, coming from 3d 20 years ago, I spent about 15 days switching from 2D to 3D (tutorial and basic part drawing on SW with an experienced colleague to follow me) and 1-2 months working at 50-60% then to finally be efficient.
Hello
Personally, I did a SolidWorks training at "Axemble" in Avignon supported via my cpf account. Well, it goes without saying that I was very limited by the duration of this one. (8 days)
The rest, alone as a grown-up! As my comrades point out, there is nothing free.
FYI: my internship cost 5000 euros...
Happy searching.
