Freeform

Hi all 

I have to make prototypes of some kind of shoe soles, in order to try different designs. 
I use the "freeform" tool to really modify my surface as I want. 
However, it is difficult to make clean curves and have a smooth rendering. 
Do you have a solution to my problem to come and "go" the rough edges?

Hello

The irregular deformation comes from the excessive number of curves and control points. Reduce their number to the minimum necessary. Simplify the surface as much as possible. There are too many details.

There is another method. Search for insoles in the various 3D libraries, transform them into steps and then use Boolean functions or the "Deform" tool.

But it probably comes at a cost.
