Random infill generation for cut cladding

Hello

Does anyone know how to automatically generate random cut-out shapes for decorative cladding (like in the attached photo)?

Thanks in advance

Hello @ PM

honestly to my knowledge no I don't see sorry ;-(

It is possible to make repetitions of shapes that you have traced on a sketch

or repeat in a box with a pre-supplied brush style via the Area Repeat  tool

but they will be the same in the defined areas

The only solution in my opinion is to trace each cut

Hello

Yes it's possible but not automatically with the "Ventilation" tool, maybe it's not in the menu and you have to look for it in the tools to add it.

see below or as an attachment, and don't hesitate to look in the help of the tool you can go further with the secondary arms (thinner)

Kind regards

Edit: the function does not take into account the damaged corners, either do them before or after.

@gt22 yes normally you have it but strangely you don't have it easily anymore via the activation of the molding menu. You really have to look for it in the list of commands in the same place as the plastic lugs/clips.

For the record, I had already asked myself the question when I saw the separations in a Chinese restaurant, but I hadn't tested it before this post^^
