I am currently working under SW2016. For a certain project I made a motion animation video ("Motion Study" environment) but it is impossible for me to generate this video with the ambient occlusion effect.
I don't have Photoview, is it normal that it's impossible for me to have the ambient occlusion in my video?
Thank you for your answer. However, the relaview graphics option is already enabled and the effect appears in the video but the ambient occlusion does not.
Thank you all, I didn't expect so many answers in such a short time!
Yes, ambient occlusion is activated in fixed visual and works very well. I think it doesn't come from the graphics card.
I have seen these different posts but I have not seen any positive responses to the proposed solutions...
Do you have or know someone who has ever successfully recorded a video with ambient occlusion? I called my software distributor and he told me that it was not possible but I highly doubt his answer given that with Photoview the option appears in the video output settings (seen on the internet).
This doesn't surprise me because the ambient occlusion only works in fixed mode, when you rotate the model, the occlusion doesn't work so in video it seems logical to me.
After Photoview manages it, that's the goal anyway.
I know what you mean but for all that, when SW2016 creates a video file it only takes a succession of images (so still) that it assembles afterwards. I've also used Inventor before and that's what it does: with each image, it creates the realistic look it wants, and then it stitches them all together afterwards.
Finally I finally succeeded, for my part the occlusion appears in the video only if in personal proportions I use the "active window" option. The other settings disable ambient occlusion!
