Hello, I just read the full post, you said that a re-installation of the chest and Solid had not changed anything. Then you mark that a priori this would solve the problem!?
Personally I already had the problem, from what I remember, (solid 2012...) I had to format the pc entirely... Then re-install everything and it worked. Even recreating a windows account didn't work.

Reinstalling everything resets file associations, so my first answer was more or less the correct answer^^

Indeed. But the first time he had a new installation, he did it automatically and the chest was installed before SolidWorks. And by repeating the same operation but installing the chest afterwards, the problem was solved.
But it may have been a stroke of luck...
