Hello

Could someone help me insert an image in solidworks please? I don't really know how to do it.. :/

Salur giles,

It's pretty simple, first you open a sketch, then you go to tool, then sketch tool, then you find the sketch image tab! 

All you have to do is get your image in the file where it is stored:)

Thank you, it was good to insert it into a sketch;) I want to use it as a model.

Hello @gilles,

To complete, this way of doing things opens up an interesting possibility:

When you are in SolidWorks, go to Tools/Add-ins, and enable SOLIDWORKS/Autotrace Add-ins.

As a result, when you insert an image into a sketch, you have access to a second pane that allows you to automatically trace the image in spline (curves). To be tested. The result depends on the quality of the image.
