Implement a drawing in another drawing

Hello,

I would like to integrate a drawing of a product with a basemap in A3 into a drawing with a cartridge of a customer which is in A2, is it possible without going through a dwg file? And without having to copy and paste each view—just import the entire clip into another drawing

Hello

you can go through the screenshot tool and paste the MEP into the other

Hello
It is possible but not another MEP SW. Any Office Document, PDF, Image, DWG, DXF.
Insert object from file menu. But it's still a reference visual, just like the screenshot. Difference from copy/paste: if you double click on it, the file opens with the default editor.

Hello

Thank you for your answers

But several problems arise with these solutions: - by taking a screenshot the plan will no longer update if the design evolves

  • The Capture map pixelates when displaying and printing, the same goes for inserting images or PDFs
  • and it is no longer possible to take action on the

Hello

I don't really understand the need? Why not make two tabs; one with the customer MEP and the other with your cartridge.

Hello

The needs are that my customer needs to modify his cartridge and to be able to take measurements on the plan and I on my side need to be able to evolve my product and my cartridge according to the revisions, all this on the same plan because it must be able to be printed

The ideal would have been to be able to integrate a SW MEP as an object (pdf) but if this is not possible I will do otherwise (copy/paste would be the closest thing to the need, the problem and that I have about fifteen plans to take up in another plan)

Thank you anyway

Hello

The easiest way is probably to make an A2 MEP model with the client cartridge containing your A3 cartridge in the middle.
In the end, you will have the rendering given by @ac_cobra_427
