DWG import into tekla

Hello Community,

My question is simple: is it possible to import a DWG into TEKLA without paying 1 cent ?

If anyone has ever succeeded...

Thank you in advance friends.

Hello

I looked at it, but I admit to being a bit dry on this question...

I continue to search all the same...

Thank you

I had already started looking but I dried up too...

That's why I turned to you.

That's all I found

I don't know much about Tekla, but it seems that there are restrictions on the DWG entities (no blocks for example)

otherwise, this video too which allows you to import a dwg from AutoCad to Tekla

Thank you Yves. It works!!

Indeed, no blocks...

Great if it works... Glad I helped :-)

Hello

Importing a dwg or dxf can be done in two ways.

The first is to import dwg in the form of a line that can be replaced by profiles, this is the old method.

The second most interesting is the insertion of a 2D or 3D reference model (dwg, dxf, ifc, step, iges, skp). The file is treated as an object, it is possible to hang on to this reference. It is possible to do collision check but also to convert IFC objects to native Tekla objects.

Easier to move, scale and filter layers.
