I need to import IGES files from roboguide (Fanuc robot prog software). These files are often large (200MB). Either he crashes, or he takes a long time to open them. Does anyone have a trick in the options to make the transfer easier?

There is no special import option.
It is better to work on export (by eliminating superfluous bodies from the outset for example).
Or try another type of paging file (parasolid, step, etc...)

If you do the manipulation frequently you could maybe look at the converters whose main function is this.
I'm thinking here of either CrossCad or CrossManager CrossManager Software - 3D and 2D CAD File Converter stand alone
This might allow you to batch files while you're working on SW.
