Hello, I'm trying to import an ifc2x3 file (the masonry of a 3-storey building designed since revit 2016) on solidworks 2016.
Some objects do not seem to be recognized. . In particular the slabs and some walls...
If you have encountered the problem, thank you for your feedback.
Hello
can you put the IFC file in the post so we can see and try???
Attached is the IFC file! Indeed it could be easier with this attachment.

Hello
What are your import options?

With me too there are a lot of things missing, you should ask the person to see if he can generate a WWTP of the assembly. Now I think you should have all the parts...

Hello
If you download BIMVISION, which allows you to read IFCs (BIM format) for free, you will see that you are not missing anything in SolidWOrks.

I'm afraid that only the STEP can allow me to recover the 3D at first. The problem is that WWTP is not the format that should be used in this project.

And a file in . STL could perhaps fix things.

Re
In your options, the polygon and volume entities are not checked! Start with this with the BREP option and normally it should be much better, a screen print of what I read on my side in 2016 I specify.

Thank you Coyote,
Can you send me a preview of the import option dialog, at home in "polygon and volume entities" mode checked with the BREP option is not enough...
In any case, I'm delighted to see that it all seems possible!
In your case Coyote, I will be curious to know the version of solidworks 2016 that you are using.
