Unable to re-open a 3D that has been used with Photoview

Hi everyone

I encounter a small problem that is starting to become quite annoying,

As it is written in the title after working on a piece and/or assembly with photoview that I save and close it, it is impossible for me to re-open it,

I tried the simplest solutions: restart Solidworks and turn off the PC, nothing changes,

On the other hand, if I make a copy of the file, put it on my company's network and open it from another PC, it works, but if I close it, the same thing happens as at the beginning,

So I wanted to identify the problem by doing step by step the realization of a test piece on photoview (application of appearances lights etc...), so I was able to identify that the problem would come from the cameras, without this one(s) the 3D works correctly,

So my question is, has anyone ever encountered this problem or a similar one? And if so, has he found a solution?

Thank you and have a good day everyone,

PS: Attached you will find the test file

Salit, is it really the last SP available? Sp3 for the 2016 version and SP5 for the previous versions.

Hello

I just opened it and didn't have any problems.... I'm giving you the file I opened and re-saved because I saw that you're also under 2016... And as pl said, check if you are in SP3

Hello

I'm not in 2016 SP3 but I'll update it today,

For your information ac cobra 427 the file you have re-saved I still can't open it,

On the other hand, if there are other solutions, don't hesitate,

Thank you for your answers,

It's almost certain that with the SP3 it will be good:)

Did you update and did it change anything???

Hello

sorry for the wait I couldn't do the update before (emergencies to be treated),

I just updated this morning to SP4.0 (sw2016) but it didn't solve my problem,

so I don't see what to do

Hello

Try to reset the settings to 0 with my tutorial:

http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/reinitialiser-les-parametres-solidworks

We can go back afterwards if necessary, but that way you will be sure that it does not come from the configuration of your workstation.

I put the settings back to 0 and I still have the same problem so it doesn't come from my personal settings,

by the way your tutorial .PL,

Check if your video card is up to date with the SolidWorks recommendations:

http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/support/videocardtesting.html

On the other hand, after resetting the settings, did you just try to open a corrupted file, or did you save a file that didn't have a problem too?

yes my graphics card is up to date and yes I also tried on a new part,

on the other hand it's not necessarily only the cameras that make it crash because I just redid an assembly without them and now impossible to open it,

And on other workstations it works correctly?

Do they have the same configuration?

Can you try copying the settings of one of these workstations to test them on your workstation? (remember to save yours first).

On other workstations it works at first but as soon as it re-registers the 3D no way to open it,

they have the same configurations,

I tried the settings of a colleague on my workstation it works, I don't understand anymore when I put the settings back to 0 it doesn't work and with other settings it works, I even tried with a backup of mine from a year ago,

so to conclude I'm going to put my colleague's settings on my workstation and I'll see afterwards if it continues to work,

Thank you for your help.PL

Have a nice day
