Unable to use the spacemouse in solidworks 2015

Hello.

I just received a 3dconnexion spacemouse (the basic wireless one). I installed the latest driver, under drafsight it works without problem, under solidworks 2015 SP3, the driver appears in the add-ons, on the other hand despite that I activate it impossible to use the mouse. When reading the document provided by 3Dconnexion a drop-down menu should also appear between "tool" and "window" of the toolbar, but the latter is not present.

If anyone has ever been confronted with this problem, please enlighten me.

Hello

First, check if the "3Dcontrol" add-in launches when SW starts. As visible as an attachment. To do this, "Tools" then "Complements... ".

Then check that the driver launches when windows starts. To do this, at the bottom of the start menu, type the command "msconfig" and then [Enter]. A window appears. Use the startup tab to see the list of programs that launch when windows starts. In it you should see an item "3Dconnexion, Inc 3DxService". Verifies that this item is selected.

I checked, everything is OK. But this does not work. What I don't understand, it works with DRAFTSIGHT but solidworks nothing to do.

I guess you used the last driver well.

The driver in version 10 has brought quite a few features.

However, I use the "Pro" model and I can't tell you more about how your model works and how to set it up.

Try this: Open SW. Then open the "3D Mouse Home" and select "Properties".

Look at all the settings and especially if the rotation is not disabled.

I went back to the 2014 SP4 version and it works... I will contact

3Dconnect directly and ask them for information may be an update problem . 

I keep you informed when someone is in the same situation.
