I am currently working on SW2017 and I would have liked to know if it was possible to indicate on an assembly bill of materials on MEP the position area of the marker bubble on the plan in order to facilitate the search for the MEP user. For example, if the bubble of a part is in F5 on the plan, I would have liked to have had in the "ZONE" column of the nomenclature the indication F5. Same question for a nomenclature on part type "welded part list".
If you haven't already done so, I think you should start by editing the areas:
Using the Zone Editor
Right-click in a drawing and click Edit Basemap.
Right-click in the sheet and click Zone Editor.
In the PropertyManager Zone Editor, click Columns and select a column annotation, for example, 1.
In the PropertyManager Zone Editor, click Rows and select a line annotation, for example, A.
In the Zone Editor PropertyManager, click More Properties.
In the Sheet Properties dialog box, adjust the Area Size and Region.
If you change the number of Zone Size zones, you will be warned that the placement of the zone identifiers is not adjusted automatically, and that you must manipulate them manually.
Click OK to close the dialog box
Click Edit > Sheet, or right-click an empty area of the drawing sheet or the sheet icon in the FeatureManager Design Tree, and select Edit Sheet.
Then, to see the zone lines, do: Display / Zone Lines.
I have already done my zoning on the MEP. My concern is that I would have to create a BOM column indicating the position of the component bubble. Do you think this is possible?
I revisit the subject concerning the area indication in a drawing, what property should be added in the nomenclature for this to be taken into account using the area lines.
Indeed this zone location function is active in a revision table, but how to integrate it into a nomenclature table to "zone" the guides, the zone column is not present in the nomenclature table.
