How do I get several weld representations (Weld Aspect function) of partial length (adjustable with the slider) on the same edge?
To make 3 cords of different size and spacing for example.
SolidWorks doesn't give me the possibility to select the same edge 2 times. He indicates that representation already exists.
Thank you

Hello
To make several seams on the same edge, you must use the batch welding function.
See the attached screenshot.
[Edit:] No possibility of making cords of different lengths.

My problem is on the 2D.
It is not a broken weld.
I use "discontinuous length" because I have a 40mm cord then 20mm spacing, then 30 cord then 25mm spacing and finally 80mm cord.
See screenshoot
PS: This is a file that was sent to me and precisely, there are 3 cords on the same edge and I can enlarge them with the mouse. So it's possible.

Hello
Isn't the representation of the cords a simple block or a sketch?

The same problem applies to a drawing.
What is the version of the file?

No, there are 3 times the function and I can modulate them as I want.
This is a 2012 version

It's 2015 and it's not possible.
I also tried with the 2016 Beta and the same...

I don't know how it was done... But the guy succeeded. There must be a trick...

I'm not sure.
There have been quite a few changes since 2012, especially in terms of welds.
Here is the 2012 aid: http://help.solidworks.com/2012/french/solidworks/sldworks/caterpillar_-_inserting.htm
Here is the 2015 aid: http://help.solidworks.com/2015/french/solidworks/sldworks/hidd_insert_caterpillar.htm
Does anyone have an old version to do the test?
Can you send us a lighter version of your file? (for confidentiality reasons)

I can't send it. The file remains confidential.
And if I ever touch 3D, these welds "pop"...
