Hello.

Is it possible to insert a sketch and a function in the creation tree?

Example: Add a forgotten extrusion under  the Sketch 2 line.

Yes, it is possible, just drag the blue bar to the desired location:

Do the desired functions and then lower this bar to the bottom.

Yes

If the sketch's baselines  are earlier than the position of your sketch 2

In this case you make your sketch at the bottom of your creation tree and once done

you move it to the desired place
