Inventor: Symmetric Component Constraints

Hello

In an assembly under inventor, when I create a symmetrical component (without creating a part because the part to be balanced is also symmetrical), the operation is carried out correctly. On the other hand, if I change a length, for example, the symmetrical part is not.

For example, a tube with 2 holes spaced 200mm apart. In the first one I put a screw and and create a symmetrical version for the other. If I change the center distance to 250 mm, the part assembled with constraint follows but the symmetrical part does not.

On solidworks I don't have this problem... I must have forgotten to tick a box but I didn't find anything intuitive.

Thank you

Rather than creating a symmetrical component, it is better to reassemble the component.

Yes that's what I did but suddenly I clearly don't understand the usefulness of the symmetrical components function....

Either I didn't understand, either, how to use the function correctly with Inventor, or it's a black spot of Inventor (compared to SW for example which handles the problem very well even if it takes practice).

When I have a real symmetry to do, I prefer to make a derivative piece.

A little late but I confirm it's a very black spot (there are others) of Inventor compared to SW.
