Inventor vers solidworks

Hello, I have a whole design made under inventor professonnal 9 and I would like to recover the components under SW2015? The goal is to avoid me having to redraw everything in solid.

Knowing that the best would be the recognition of the foctions.

Thank you for your ideas.

Hello

No simple solution: you have to go through STEP or IGES and try SolidWorks function recognition, but if there are changes to be made most of the time, it's faster to redesign everything...

You have the functions of direct editions so recreate a part via a step

through surface through surface copy among other things via surface copy

Hello

Normally you can open an inventor assembly under SW, but I don't know if you can recover the functions, it's been  a while since I've done it. Moreover, at the moment I don't have Inventor anymore.

Good luck.

Hello, I found a way, you can directly select an inventor file and open it with SW it recognizes the functions, it remains rudimentary but at least the structure of the part is recovered.
