DraftSight Selection Reversal

Hello everyone, I would like to know if anyone knows how to deselect objects in Draftsight or AutoCAD. When making a selection, I sometimes select lines that do not belong to the object I want to move... Thank you and see you soon A+

Hello Batch123

To deselect objects in Draftsight, you just have to reselect the unwanted objects by holding down the SHIFT key.

Have a nice day

With tuto.com you can you have a 20-credit tutorial that teaches us the basics of this software.

If you don't know Autocad, you're going to have a hard time following the teaching.

Hello, in Autocad (old versions where the keyboard was used a lot), you select your objects in the wild to move them and type on your command line "R" (Remove or remove in French) then click on all the objects you want to remove. To add more it is "A" (Add or add in French). Super practical when you want to go fast on complicated drawings.

Hello

In my opinion, there are 2 object sensor modes.

The first: in a selection area format from the bottom right to the top left.

This selection area is going to select, all the lines, coming into this area.

The second: by forming a selection area from the top left to the bottom right.

This selection box will select only the lines (or segments) starting and ending in this box.

This last way of doing things, will already greatly limit your number of unwanted objects.

You also have the possibility to create blocks of objects, which will be very useful so that you don't have to repeat the manipulation over and over again. But also layers, which you may or may not be able to display.
