I use 2 different pieces under the same assembly. For these 2 pieces, I have several configs that use the "User Specified Name", under which I put a "-".
When I insert my nomenclature under the mep, I see one but not the other. To see the other one, I have to either use the "Document Name" or put something other than "-" if I keep the "User Specified Name".
I looked to see if my parts were configured the same, but no differences on that side.
I searched under the config of my mep and my assembly, same.
It's surprising, because it's something we often practice with my colleagues, and so far, never any problems.
Play around with the different options in the BOM. When you click underneath it, there is the featur manager that opens and there you can play with it to see because it may be a problem with the confirmations...
This is not a very common problem. A few more details and screenshots will help to understand better.
I'll rephrase for you if I understood correctly.
You insert 2 (different) parts in an assembly for which you make an MEP and then a classic BOM (parts only) with article number, part number, description, quantity.
You choose to put a "-" instead of the part number (default) in the configuration properties for both parts.
So in the part number column you have this
One of the two pieces does not appear in the painting.
In the properties of the component (assembly mode, right-click on the part that is not displayed in the BOM and then "component properties"), the exclude from the BOM box is unchecked?
Is the quantity of coin displayed (for the coin that appears) correct? Isn't there a checkbox in the BOM options that causes the items to merge if the part number is the same? Is it specific to your machine? Is this new?
